This piece feels a bit more nostalgic. The double-vision I experienced as a child shaped my world: seeing replicated objects with overlapping translucencies and varying placements in space. It's been a journey to revisit this in an intentional way through my art.

I started collecting antique cameras with my father as a teenager. We would go to estate sales and that was always the first thing l'd look for. They were fascinating pieces of art. The history they represented. Each had their own set of memories and countless stories of past times. Who owned them? Where did they travel to?

What did they photograph? I reflected on the meaningful intention and savored mindset of an experience that might warrant a photo. Each camera held themes of perception, impermanence, connection, adventure, and discovery.
